Testimonial by Dawn O. Remington Philip completed the graphic design for my father’s recently published book, Montana Monographs: Pioneers of the Yellowstone Valley. He started with our MS Word document comprised of 76 chapters, approximately 280 pages. He was given disks with approximately 40 photographic files to be labeled and placed with the appropriate chapters. He added design elements to the text. He edited the archival black and white photographs making ‘vignettes’ so there was a consistent and appealing look to them. He chose a particularly compelling archival photograph for the front cover and worked with my snapshot of Dad for the back cover. He designed the covers to be very eye-catching while still appropriate for the historic subject matter. He was very accommodating when we made numerous changes to both the photographs and text. With every change, he had to update the pagination and table of contents. He produced a printer-ready PDF document, and thoroughly proof-read it. He personally worked with the printing company on final details. Philip is a conscientious and courteous young man, and I highly recommend his services.
